An East London car is rarely carrying one person. It does the school run, the shop, the weekend game on Hackney Marshes and a run out to Wanstead Flats or Valentines Park, and every one of those puts something in the back: playground sand, wet kit, a spill from a bag of shopping off Walthamstow High Street.
